The DJI Talos T60X OEM Aircraft Arm ESC Composite Cable is the sleeved wiring harness that runs along the aircraft arms of the Talos T60X spray aircraft and connects the propulsion electronics to the motors at a pair of motor positions. Composite means it bundles several conductors into one sleeved run with several connectors. It is a propulsion-system cable, listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X, and it is supplied in two positions: M1 & M2 and M3 & M4. M1 to M4 are the aircraft's motor positions; as the name states, each cable serves two of them. The two variants are different cables, and in the supplier photographs they are visibly different in shape and layout. The position you select is the position you receive. Operators usually search for it as a T60X ESC cable, a Talos T60X arm cable, or a T60X motor cable after motor or ESC warnings on two arms, a chafed sleeve, a crushed connector or a cable damaged in a strike.
Ares Acres LLC is a U.S.-based authorized DJI retailer supplying agricultural spray aircraft, replacement components, and field-ready inventory to American commercial operators, service centres, and applicators.
FREE & FAST Shipping is included for all U.S. customers.
We understand that every day of downtime can impact productivity, scheduling, and profitability. That's why we focus on providing fast fulfillment, responsive customer support, and reliable access to the parts operators need most.
Ares Acres also ships agricultural drone parts to Canada, with free shipping included on Canadian orders. Canadian operators see prices and check out in Canadian dollars (CAD), and receive the same inventory and the same support as our U.S. customers — one authorized DJI retailer serving the United States and Canada, all of North America, from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The two positions are different cables for different pairs of arms. Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships. A photograph of the cable laid out flat, with every connector visible, settles the position in one look.
One cable, one pair of motor positions. Selecting M1 & M2 sends the M1 & M2 cable. It does not send both cables, and it does not send a harness for the whole aircraft.
The two positions are not interchangeable. The M1 & M2 and M3 & M4 cables are different layouts. A full replacement of both pairs needs one of each.
Not included: the ESC modules, the propulsion motors, cable ties, clips, sleeving or any arm hardware. Reuse the aircraft's own routing clips and ties if they are sound.
Nothing is included because it appears in a photograph.
Every propulsion motor needs power and drive from its ESC module, and on a large spray aircraft those runs are long, carry high current, and live inside arms that fold, flex and vibrate. On the Talos T60X they are bundled into composite cables: one sleeved harness for each pair of motor positions.
As photographed:
The layout differs because the routes differ. Each cable is shaped for the path it follows through the airframe to its pair of arms.
Where it sits and what it touches:
Over a season the cable sees:
Composite cables are usually replaced when the sleeve has chafed through, a conductor is damaged at a fold point, a connector is cracked, crushed or corroded, or the cable was cut or pulled in a strike.
The cable's engineering role is delivery. It carries what the propulsion electronics produce out to the motors at its two positions, intact and uninterrupted, through every fold and every vibration.
In the propulsion system it:
A cable fault looks like a fault at the end of the cable. When a conductor or connector fails, the motor stutters, the ESC reports a problem, or the aircraft warns about propulsion. The cable itself reports nothing.
What the cable does not do matters as much:
When one motor reports a fault, the motor and its ESC are reasonable suspects. When two motors report faults together, the arithmetic changes. Two independent parts failing at the same moment is unlikely. One part that both of them depend on failing once is not.
On the Talos T60X, the composite cable is shared by a pair of motor positions. If both M1 and M2, or both M3 and M4, report problems at the same time, look at the cable that serves that pair before you replace any motor or module.
Suspect the cable when you see:
How to check it:
Signs that point elsewhere:
Clear the free checks first, while that information is still cheap. Reseating and cleaning a connector costs nothing and settles a surprising number of propulsion warnings. When the cable is chafed, crushed or corroded beyond cleaning, replace it.
Replace the cable when inspection confirms one of these:
Inspect these first, because they produce similar symptoms:
There is no published service interval for the cable. It is replaced when it is damaged, not on a schedule.

Maintenance between jobs. Look at the cable where it crosses the arm folds every week, keep connectors clean and fully seated, and let the aircraft dry before powering up after a wash-down. Most cable failures start at a fold or a clip, and both are visible if you look.
This cable is for operators and technicians tracing propulsion faults to their source:
This is not the part you need if:
Propulsion wiring is invisible until it fails, and when it fails it borrows the symptoms of the parts at its ends. A chafed conductor reads as a motor fault. A wet connector reads as an ESC fault. The cable is the one part in the chain that never names itself.
The pattern that gives it away is shared failure. Each composite cable serves two motor positions. When both motors of one pair start reporting together, the probability is that one shared part has failed once, not that two separate parts failed together. Look at the cable, the connectors and the fold points before you replace two motors or two ESC modules.
The ordering risk is position. The M1 & M2 and M3 & M4 cables are different layouts for different routes, and the supplier photographs show it. Note the pair of positions that are faulting, select that cable, and if there is any doubt, photograph the old cable laid out flat and we will confirm it.
When the cable is the fault, a new one returns both positions at once. Route it exactly as the original ran, leave the same slack at the folds, seat every connector fully, and fold the arms slowly before the first flight.
Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships.

What does the aircraft arm ESC composite cable do? It carries propulsion power and drive along the arms to the motors at two positions, bundled in one sleeved harness.
What does composite mean here? Several conductors bundled into one sleeved run with several connectors, instead of separate single wires.
What do M1 & M2 and M3 & M4 mean? M1 to M4 are the motor positions. Each cable serves two of them, as its name states.
How do I tell the two cables apart? In the supplier photographs the M1 & M2 cable is a curved run with a single connector at one end, and the M3 & M4 cable is a longer, straighter run with a loop at one end. Both branch into several connectors.
Can I use the M1 & M2 cable for M3 & M4? No. They have different layouts for different routes.
Which aircraft does it fit? It is listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X.
Will it fit another DJI spray aircraft? It is listed for the Talos T60X only, and we match it to that aircraft.
Is there a material number? Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships.
Two motors are faulting at once. Do I need two motors? Probably not. Two motors seldom fail together. If they share a cable, check that cable and its connectors first.
The fault comes and goes when I fold the arms. What is it? Very likely a conductor or connector at the fold. Inspect the cable where it crosses the fold and reseat every connector.
Warnings appear after washing and clear when dry. Is it the cable? Water in a connector is a common cause. Let the aircraft dry fully, inspect the seals, and replace the cable if a connector seal is damaged.
Are clips or ties included? No. Reuse the aircraft's clips if they are sound, and use new ties where old ones were cut.
Can I fit it myself? A competent technician can. Photograph the full route first, lay the new cable along exactly the same path, keep the slack at the folds, and seat every connector fully.
Do I need both cables? Only if both pairs are damaged. Each cable serves its own pair of motor positions.
How do I make the cable last? Check the fold points weekly, keep connectors clean and seated, and let the aircraft dry before powering up after a wash-down.
