The DJI Talos T60X OEM Front Frame Aluminum Tube is the straight aluminum frame member that forms the front of the Talos T60X centre frame. It is a frame-and-arm hardware part, listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X. In the supplier photograph it is a black, square-section tube with fixing holes along its top and side faces and a small identification label near one end. It is one of the aircraft's frame tubes, alongside the middle frame tubes and the rear frame tube, and it is a different part from each of them. Operators usually search for it as a T60X front frame tube, a T60X front beam, a Talos front aluminum tube or a T60X frame member after a front-end impact, a hard landing, a cracked tube, or a frame joint at the front that will no longer stay tight.
Ares Acres LLC is a U.S.-based authorized DJI retailer supplying agricultural spray aircraft, replacement components, and field-ready inventory to American commercial operators, service centres, and applicators.
FREE & FAST Shipping is included for all U.S. customers.
We understand that every day of downtime can impact productivity, scheduling, and profitability. That's why we focus on providing fast fulfillment, responsive customer support, and reliable access to the parts operators need most.

The front, middle and rear frame tubes are three different parts. Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships. The front tube carries a small label near one end in the supplier photograph, and a clear photograph of that label is the quickest confirmation there is.
One tube, front position only. It is not the middle frame tube and not the rear frame tube; each of those is a separate part with a different profile.
Only the tube is included. Not included: fasteners, the aircraft arm connectors or other fittings it joins, the arms, or any other frame hardware. Fittings photographed on an aircraft are not part of the tube.
When the old tube comes out, look at the fittings it joined and at their fastener holes too. A front-end impact that bent the tube usually loaded the fittings at each end.
The centre frame of the Talos T60X is built from straight aluminum members joined by moulded fittings. The members set the size and the squareness of the frame. The fittings tie them together and carry the arms and everything else that mounts to the frame.
The front frame aluminum tube is the member at the front of that structure. As the supplier photographs it, it is:
Its profile is what tells it apart from its neighbours. In the supplier photographs the front tube is a deep square section; the rear frame tube is a narrow flat bar; and the middle frame tubes are handed Left and Right parts. They are not one tube cut three ways.
Over a working season the front tube carries:
Front tubes are usually replaced for one of four reasons: a bend or kink from an impact, a crack running from a fastener hole, a hole that has worn oval so its fastener will no longer hold tight, or corrosion that has started at the holes where residue sits.
The front tube's engineering role is to hold the front of the frame at its correct size and shape, and to keep the joints at each end tight.
In the airframe it:
An aluminum tube in a vibrating frame rarely fails in the middle. It fails at its holes. Every fastener hole is where load is concentrated, and every hole is where vibration works on the joint. If a fastener is allowed to run loose, the fastener rocks in its hole, and the hole slowly wears from round to oval. From the outside the tube still looks perfect.
What the front tube does not do matters as much:
The first sign of a worn front tube is almost never the tube. It is a fastener that will not stay tight. It is tightened, it is fine for a day or a week, and then it is loose again.
The natural fix is a new fastener, or a tighter one. Neither lasts, because the fastener was never the problem. Once a hole in the tube has been worked oval by a loose joint, the fastener has nothing round and firm to bear against. It can be tightened, but the joint can still shift under vibration, and it works itself loose again.
Look at the front tube's holes when you see:
Signs that point elsewhere:
Use a sound hole as your reference. Remove a fastener from a joint that has never given trouble and compare its hole with the suspect one. Wear shows clearly beside a hole that is still round.
Clear the free checks first, while that information is still cheap: rinse the front of the frame, look for cracks running from any hole, take out the fastener that keeps loosening and inspect its hole, and sight along the tube for a bend. If a hole has worn oval, a crack has started, or the tube is bent or kinked, the tube is the repair.
Replace the front tube when inspection confirms one of these:
Inspect these first, because they produce similar symptoms:
There is no published service interval for the front frame tube. It is replaced when it is bent, cracked, corroded or worn at its holes, not on a schedule.

Maintenance between jobs. Rinse the frame after every spray or fertilizer day, dry it before it is put away, and check the front joints for tightness on a regular round. A fastener caught loose on the first day leaves a round hole; a fastener left loose for a season leaves an oval one.
This tube is for operators and technicians who need the front of the frame square and tight again:
This is not the part you need if:
A frame tube that is bent is easy to diagnose and easy to replace. A frame tube that is worn at its holes is not, because it looks perfect. It is still straight, still black and still clean. The only evidence is a front joint that keeps working loose, and the usual response is a new fastener, then a tighter one, then a thread locker, none of which lasts.
That is the invisible failure on this part. Aluminum in a vibrating frame wears where it is fastened. A hole that has been worked oval by a loose joint never holds a fastener properly again, whatever is fitted into it. The joint keeps shifting, the shifting wears the hole further, and the frame around it starts to carry load it was never meant to carry.
So when a front joint will not stay tight, take the fastener out and look at the hole. If it is round, the fastener is the repair. If it is oval, cracked or corroded, the tube is the repair, and no fastener will substitute for it.
And match the position. The front tube is not the middle tube and not the rear tube; in the supplier photographs they are three different profiles. If there is any doubt about which member you are holding, photograph its label and send it to us; we will confirm it.

What does the front frame aluminum tube do? It is the front member of the centre frame. It holds the fittings at each end at the correct distance and keeps the front of the frame square.
Is it the same as the middle or rear frame tube? No. In the supplier photographs the front tube is a deep square section, the rear tube is a narrow flat bar, and the middle tubes are separate Left and Right parts.
Which aircraft does it fit? It is listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X.
What comes in the box? One front frame aluminum tube. Fasteners, fittings and other frame parts are not included.
Is there a part number I can check? Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships.
A bolt at the front of my frame keeps coming loose. Do I need a new tube? Take the bolt out and look at the hole. If the hole is round, replace the fastener. If the hole has worn oval, cracked or corroded, the tube is the repair.
Can thread locker fix a joint that keeps loosening? Not if the hole has worn oval. The joint can still shift under vibration, and the wear continues. A worn hole needs a new tube.
My front tube is slightly bent. Can I straighten it? Replace it. A straightened aluminum tube may look true and still not be, and the bend has usually stressed the holes nearest to it.
What is the grey dust around a fastener head? Usually metal worn away by a joint that has been moving. Check that fastener's hole for wear.
What is the white powder around the holes? Usually corrosion, started by residue and water sitting at the holes. If it has eaten into the hole edges, replace the tube.
Can I fit it myself? Most technicians can. Photograph the frame, support it, change the tube the same way round, refit the fasteners evenly, and recheck them after the first day.
Are fasteners included? No. Reuse sound fasteners, and replace any whose thread or head is damaged.
Should I check anything else while the tube is out? Yes. Inspect the fittings at each end and their holes. An impact that bent the tube usually loaded them too.
Is aluminum strong enough for a spray frame? The tube is named as aluminum by the supplier. Its weak points are its holes, which is why joint tightness matters more than anything else in its upkeep.
How often should I check the frame fasteners? There is no published interval. Check them on a regular round, after any hard landing, and whenever a joint sounds or feels different.
How do I make the tube last? Rinse and dry the frame after every chemical or fertilizer day, keep the joints tight, and deal with any loose fastener the day it is found.
