The DJI Talos T60X OEM Weight Sensor Signal Cable is the harness that carries the readings from the Talos T60X's weight sensors to the aircraft. As the supplier photograph shows, it has one main connector, a black right-angle connector with an orange collar, on a long trunk, and three sensor-side leads, each passing through a red-and-black grommet and ending in a small white connector. It is a payload-system cable: it weighs nothing itself, but every weighing point reports through it, so the payload weight the aircraft works with depends on it. It is listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X. Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships. Operators usually come looking for a Talos T60X weight sensor cable, weighing harness or load sensor wire after every weight reading has disappeared at once, after a lead has been cut or pulled out during payload work, or after a hard landing has crushed the harness.
Ares Acres LLC is a U.S.-based authorized DJI retailer supplying agricultural spray aircraft, replacement components, and field-ready inventory to American commercial operators, service centres, and applicators.
FREE & FAST Shipping is included for all U.S. customers.
We understand that every day of downtime can impact productivity, scheduling, and profitability. That's why we focus on providing fast fulfillment, responsive customer support, and reliable access to the parts operators need most.
Ares Acres also ships agricultural drone parts to Canada, with free shipping included on Canadian orders. Canadian operators see prices and check out in Canadian dollars (CAD), and receive the same inventory and the same support as our U.S. customers — one authorized DJI retailer serving the United States and Canada, all of North America, from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships. A photograph of the old harness laid out flat, with the main connector and all three grommets visible, is enough.
One harness, supplied complete. The main connector, the trunk, the three leads and their grommets and connectors come as one assembly. Individual leads are not sold separately from it.
Not included: the weight sensors themselves (listed separately as the DJI Talos T60X OEM Weight Sensor Module), cable ties, clips, screws, brackets or any other cable. Those are separate parts.
Nothing is included because it appears in a photograph. The photograph shows the harness itself and nothing else.
The weight sensor signal cable is the weighing system's common path. Each weight sensor sits at its own weighing point and connects to one of the cable's three leads; the leads join into one trunk, and the trunk ends at a single main connector on the aircraft side.
On the Talos T60X the harness has a black right-angle main connector with an orange collar, a long trunk that is coiled in the supplier photograph, and three sensor-side leads. Each lead passes through a red-and-black grommet that seals it where it passes through the structure, and ends in a small white connector that meets its sensor. White marker bands sit on the leads.
The three leads match the weighing points, and that layout is the most useful fact about the part. Each weighing point has its own lead, but all three share the trunk and the main connector. A fault on one lead takes out one reading; a fault on the trunk or main connector takes out all of them together.
What the harness lives with, over a working season:
What ends its life is usually a lead cut or pulled out at its grommet, a crushed section of trunk, a torn grommet, or a connector damaged during payload work. All of these are visible on inspection, and the pattern of readings tells you where to look first.
The harness's engineering role is to give each weight sensor a dedicated, sealed path to the aircraft. It does that in four ways:
The harness carries signals and nothing else. It has no electronics of its own and no setting. Whether a weighing point reads correctly depends on its sensor, its lead, the trunk, the main connector and the aircraft-side socket, in that order.
What the weight sensor signal cable does not do:
When the payload weight disappears, the natural assumption is that the weight sensors have failed. But the weighing system reads from three points, and three sensors failing at the same moment is unlikely. What all three share is this cable's trunk and its main connector. When every reading goes at once, that is where to look first.
That is how a cable fault gets misread as a sensor fault. A sensor is replaced, the reading stays missing; a second is replaced, still missing. The cause was the one path all of them share, and it was never inside any sensor.
Read the pattern before you replace anything:
Inspect the cable first:
Signs that point somewhere else:
Reseat and inspect first, while that information is still cheap. A main connector that was not fully seated after payload work explains every missing reading at once, and it is cured in seconds.
When the cable is damaged, replace the whole harness. A spliced lead in the payload area lives in spray and wash water and is a new place for the fault to return.
Replace the weight sensor signal cable when inspection confirms one of these:
Inspect these as well, because they produce similar symptoms:
There is no published service interval for the harness. It is replaced when it is damaged.

Maintenance between jobs. When the payload or tank is removed, reseat the main connector and every sensor-side connector afterwards. Check the grommets for tears whenever the payload area is open; a grommet that has let its lead move is the start of a cut lead.
The weight sensor signal cable is for operators and technicians restoring the weighing system on the Talos T60X:
This is not the part you need if:
The weight sensor signal cable is the one thing every weighing point has in common. That gives its faults a signature: when it fails at the trunk or main connector, every reading goes together.
That is the operational cost of a damaged cable read as a sensor fault. Sensors are suspected one at a time, replaced one at a time, and the readings stay missing, because the cause is the shared path behind them.
Reading the pattern first reverses that. All readings gone together points at the cable and its main connector; one reading gone points at a sensor or its own lead. A few minutes of reseating and inspection either clears the cable or finds the fault.
A cable with one torn grommet is worth replacing before the lead behind it is cut. The grommet is what stops the lead moving where it passes through, and a lead that moves on every flight is wearing.
When the checks point at the cable, replace the whole harness, seat every grommet, and prove it with a known-weight test before the next job.

What is the Talos T60X weight sensor signal cable? The harness that carries the weight sensor readings to the aircraft. It has one main connector, a trunk and three sensor-side leads, supplied as one assembly.
Which aircraft does it fit? It is listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X. The Talos T60X is the only aircraft it is listed for.
What is the part number? Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships.
All my weight readings disappeared at once. Is it the sensors? Usually not. Three sensors rarely fail together. Look at what they share: this cable's trunk, its main connector and the aircraft-side socket.
Only one weight reading is missing. Is it the cable? It may be that sensor or its own lead. Swap in a known-good sensor; if the fault stays in that position, the lead is the fault.
Are the weight sensors included? No. The harness is supplied on its own. The DJI Talos T60X OEM Weight Sensor Module is a separate part.
Can I buy one lead on its own? No. The main connector, trunk and three leads come as one harness.
What are the red-and-black rings on the leads? Grommets. Each one seals its lead where it passes through the structure and stops it moving. A torn grommet is a reason to replace the cable.
The readings went missing after I removed the tank. What happened? Most often a connector was not fully reseated. Reseat the main connector and all three sensor-side connectors first.
My readings are present but wrong. Is it this cable? Less likely. Run a known-weight test and swap sensors between positions; a steady error usually belongs to a sensor or the payload mounting.
Can I splice a cut lead? A splice in the payload area lives in spray and wash water and is a new place for the fault to return. Replace the harness.
Can I fit it myself? Most technicians can. Label every connector, route the harness along the old path, seat each grommet and connector fully, and refit the ties and clips.
How do I test it after fitting? Power up on the ground, confirm all weighing readings are present, and run a known-weight test with clean water.
Is there a service interval? No published interval. It is replaced when it is damaged.
Is it a genuine DJI part? Yes. It is a genuine DJI OEM payload-system cable, brand new.
