The DJI Talos T60X OEM Power Distribution Board Module is the board assembly that takes power in and distributes it out through the aircraft's power system. It is an avionics and power part, listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X, and it is supplied as one module: a long board in a moulded frame carrying four two-pin power connector housings, two at each end, a central cluster of gold-plated contacts with two guide pins, and a short lead of red and black wires ending in two small plug connectors. Because every load the board feeds passes through its contacts, a fault at one contact can look like a fault anywhere downstream. Operators usually search for it as a T60X power distribution board, a Talos PDB, or a T60X power board after power warnings, a connector that has overheated, or a power fault that follows no particular battery or motor.

Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships. If the label is hidden or unreadable, photograph the old module from above with all of its connectors and its lead in view. The connector layout is what identifies this module, and one clear photograph shows it.
One module, complete as photographed. The board, its moulded frame, the four two-pin connector housings, the central contact cluster and the short red and black lead with its two plugs arrive as one assembly.
Not a battery and not a cable set. The module distributes power; it does not store it. The cables that plug into its connectors stay with the aircraft.
Not included: batteries, power cables, signal cables, screws, covers, thermal pads or any frame hardware. Reuse sound fixings and covers from the aircraft, and replace any that are damaged.
Power on an agricultural aircraft does not travel in one straight line. It comes in from the battery side and has to be split and sent on to the systems that use it. The power distribution board is where that split happens. It is the junction of the power system, and almost every amp the aircraft uses passes through one of its contacts.
As photographed, the module has:
The connector mapping, meaning which connector feeds which system, is not published for this part. Photograph the old module with its cables attached before anything is unplugged, and the photograph becomes the map.
Over a working season the module sees:
Power distribution modules are usually replaced for one of three reasons: a contact or connector housing that has overheated, pitted or melted, a cracked board or frame after an impact, or corrosion at the contacts that cannot be cleaned out.
The module's engineering role is distribution: one power input, several power outputs, with as little loss as possible at each joint.
In the power system it:
Every joint on the board is a contact, and every contact has a small resistance. When a contact is clean, tight and square, that resistance is tiny and the heat it makes is tiny. When a contact is pitted, loose or contaminated, its resistance rises, it heats up, and the heat makes it worse. That cycle happens at one contact, not across the whole board, and it can be well advanced before anything looks wrong from a distance.
What the module does not do matters as much:
A power distribution board is easy to suspect and hard to prove, because it sits between everything. A power fault anywhere in the aircraft can be blamed on it, and a real fault in it can look like a fault in something it feeds. The way through is to stop looking at the board as a whole and start looking at its contacts one at a time.
A board that has failed is rarely broken across its middle. It has usually failed at one contact: one connector housing that has run hot, one gold contact that has pitted, one plug that has corroded. From arm's length the module looks normal. Up close, with the cables removed, one contact looks different from its neighbours.
Suspect the module when you see:
Signs that point at another part instead:
Compare like with like. With the aircraft powered down and the batteries removed, unplug the cables one at a time and look at each contact against its twin at the other end of the board. A healthy board looks the same at both ends. A failing contact stands out.
And when a contact has burned, look at what plugs into it as well. A burned socket usually has a burned plug opposite it; fitting a new module to an old, damaged plug starts the same cycle again. Do these checks first, while that information is still cheap.
Replace the module when inspection confirms one of these:
Inspect these first, because they produce similar symptoms:
There is no published service interval for this module. It is replaced when a contact, connector, lead or the board itself is damaged, not on a schedule.

Maintenance between jobs. Keep the electronics bay dry and closed, push every power connector fully home whenever it is disturbed, and look at the module's contacts whenever the bay is open. A contact that is starting to discolour is a clean replacement on the bench; a contact that has burned through takes its cable with it.
This module is for operators and technicians tracing a power fault to its source:
This is not the part you need if:
The power distribution module is the part every power fault passes near, which makes it the part most often suspected and least often proven. Replacing it on suspicion is an expensive way to learn the fault was elsewhere. Leaving a failing one in place is a worse one.
What makes it hard to judge is that it rarely fails as a whole. It fails at a contact. One connector housing runs hot because its contact is pitted or not fully mated. The heat raises the resistance; the resistance raises the heat. The rest of the board is fine, and from a distance the whole module looks fine, until that one joint gives up under load.
So the inspection is done contact by contact. Batteries out, cables off one at a time, each contact compared with its twin. A board that looks the same at both ends is probably not your fault. A board with one discoloured, pitted or melted contact is.
And when a contact has burned, the plug that met it is suspect too. A new module fitted to an old, damaged plug starts the same cycle on a fresh contact. Inspect both halves of every joint, replace what is damaged, and push every connector fully home.
If there is any doubt that this is the module you need, photograph the old one from above with its connectors in view and send us the picture.

What does the power distribution board module do? It takes power in and distributes it out through the aircraft's power system, through its central contact cluster, its four two-pin connectors and its short lead.
What comes in the box? One complete module as photographed: the board in its frame, four connector housings, the central contact cluster with guide pins, and the short red and black lead with two plugs.
Which aircraft does it fit? It is listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X.
Is there a part number? Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships.
How do I know if my board has failed? Remove the batteries, unplug each cable in turn and compare every contact with its twin. A failing board usually shows one discoloured, pitted or melted contact that the others do not.
One connector looks burnt. Is it the board or the cable? Look at both halves of the joint. If the board's contact is clean and the cable's plug is burnt, replace the cable. If the board's contact is damaged, replace the module and inspect the plug that met it.
Can I fit a new board and keep my old cables? Yes, if their plugs are clean and undamaged. A burnt plug fitted to a new board can damage the new contact.
My power warnings follow one battery. Is it the board? Unlikely. A fault that follows one battery is usually the battery or its connector. Swap batteries first.
Which connector feeds which system? The connector mapping is not published for this part. Photograph the old module with every cable attached and label each cable before unplugging it.
What voltage and current is it rated for? Those ratings are not published for this part.
Is it a battery? No. It distributes power; it does not store it.
Can I fit it myself? A competent technician can. Batteries out, photograph and label every cable, swap the module in the same orientation, and push every connector fully home.
Does it need replacing on a schedule? No. There is no published service interval. It is replaced when a contact, connector, lead or the board is damaged.
Why does a contact burn in the first place? A contact that is pitted, contaminated or not fully mated has higher resistance, which makes heat, which raises the resistance further. Clean, fully seated connectors break that cycle.
How do I make it last? Keep the electronics bay dry, push every connector fully home whenever it is disturbed, and look at the contacts whenever the bay is open.
