5. Use the first charge as a commissioning checkpoint
6. Raise and adjust the controller antennas
9. RTK hardware is not required for every setup step
10. Remote-controller physical prep checklist
- internal battery activated by charging;
- controller powers on;
- antennas raised;
- touchscreen available;
- optional RTK dongle installed only if needed;
- Internet path available for activation.
11. T70P arm labels
12. Unfold in the DJI illustrated sequence
13. Folding reverses the unfolding order
Al volver a storage configuration, DJI indica reverse the unfolding order.
14. Secure arms in the storage clamps
15. Incorrect folding can damage the arms

16. Flight battery installation requires aircraft power off
DJI explicitly says to insert or remove the flight battery only while the aircraft is powered off.
17. Firm attachment matters
18. Battery removal
Para retirarla, press and hold the clamp and lift the battery upward, siguiendo el illustrated mechanism.
19. Do not treat battery insertion as a hot-swap procedure
El source no soporta inserting/removing con aircraft powered on.
20. Visual battery check before power-on
Confirme complete seating, clamp engagement y ausencia de debris antes de encender.
21. Power-button sequence
DJI utiliza su standard two-stage input: press once, then press again and hold.
22. Power on the controller
Use the normal two-stage button sequence.
23. Power on the aircraft
Do the same after battery installation and physical preparation are complete.
24. Both aircraft and controller require activation
This is a first-use software commissioning requirement.
25. Run DJI Agras
Open the app and follow the on-screen activation prompts.
26. Internet is required during activation
The controller must have Internet access for the activation workflow.
27. Activation failure troubleshooting
- controller powered on;
- aircraft powered on;
- DJI Agras open;
- Internet available;
- prompts completed;
- connection/link status checked.
28. Activation is not the same as linking
If a new controller is introduced later, linking is a separate process in the remote-controller chapter.
29. Activation is not the same as preflight readiness
After activation, continue through model-specific preflight, takeoff, flight-mode and RTH checks before first operational flight.
30. First-use acceptance checklist
- controller first charge completed;
- controller powers on;
- antennas prepared;
- RTK accessory handled if needed;
- aircraft unfolded correctly;
- arms/locks inspected;
- flight battery installed with aircraft off;
- battery firmly seated;
- controller powered on;
- aircraft powered on;
- Internet available;
- DJI Agras activation complete.
31. What to record for fleet commissioning
- aircraft serial/ID;
- controller ID;
- activation date;
- firmware version after activation;
- battery ID used during setup;
- RTK dongle present/not present;
- operator/technician;
- any activation warning.
32. If the controller will not turn on
Before deeper diagnosis, verify that the initial charging step required to activate the internal battery was actually completed.
33. If the aircraft does not power on
Confirm the flight battery is properly seated and that installation/removal occurred while aircraft was off. Preserve any LED/app warning before replacing hardware.
34. If the arms do not fold correctly
Do not force them. Return to the manufacturer sequence and check clamps/arm position for obstruction or damage.
35. If activation does not complete
Separate network/account/app issues from physical aircraft faults. A failed Internet activation does not prove propulsion or battery hardware failure.
36. Commercial path for a new T70P
Ares Acres carries the T70P complete aircraft and model-specific service collections for operators commissioning a new unit or maintaining an existing fleet.
37. Controller protection and handling
The T100/T70P RC Plus lanyard/bracket and remote-control protective cover can support field handling after first-time setup; they do not change the activation procedure.
38. Questions
Why must I charge the controller first?
To activate its internal battery before first use.
Can I insert the flight battery with aircraft on?
No; DJI says insert/remove only while powered off.
How do I power on?
Press once, then press again and hold.
Does activation need Internet?
Yes.
Can I fly immediately after activation?
Activation is not preflight readiness; complete the model-specific preflight first.
