Motor Upper Cover with Screws | Propulsion Motor Top Housing | Stator Ventilation Shroud | Debris and Chemical Shield | Field-Ready Replacement Part
Ares Acres LLC is a U.S.-based authorized DJI Agras reseller supporting American agricultural drone operators with genuine DJI Agras OEM replacement parts, accessories, and field-ready inventory.
FREE & FAST Shipping is included for all U.S. customers.
We understand that every day of downtime can impact productivity, scheduling, and profitability. That's why we focus on providing fast fulfillment, responsive customer support, and reliable access to the parts operators need most.
Motor covers get cracked by propeller strikes, brittle from UV, and chewed by debris — then refitted anyway because the motor still spins. What follows is grit in the stator and chemical on the windings, and a motor rebuild that started with a cracked piece of plastic nobody replaced.
We ship the Motor Upper Cover fast to the U.S.A.
We use specialized technicians to verify and dispatch the Motor Upper Cover with Screws ordered.
Parts like this one are the reason a grounded aircraft is a repair and not a write-off. A single component held in U.S. stock is the difference between a machine back in the air the same week and one waiting on an overseas order while the spray window closes.
That is why Ares Acres keeps hard-to-find OEM motors & escs in stock and shipped fast within the U.S.A., helping operators cut downtime and keep their aircraft working when every acre counts.
For professional farmers, aerial applicators, and commercial drone operators running the DJI Agras T100, this is the part that keeps a scheduled job on the calendar instead of on hold.
The Motor Upper Cover is the vented top housing over the propulsion motor. It shields the stator and windings from debris, chemical mist and direct impact while its ventilation openings let the motor shed heat during sustained high-load flying.
The Motor Upper Cover supports:
Commercial agricultural drones work hard every day, including through:
Throughout these operations, this is routinely exposed to:
The Motor Upper Cover helps maintain:
The cover caps the top of the propulsion motor and is held by its own small screw set into bosses in the motor housing. Under it sit the stator laminations, the windings and their phase leads, and the upper bearing area. Above it is the propeller hub, so the cover lives inside the blade sweep and in the downwash of everything the rotors pick up off the crop and the ground. It is also the highest sun-facing plastic on the airframe apart from the props.
The ventilation openings are what make it more than a lid. Air moving through them is how the motor sheds the heat it makes carrying a loaded T100 down a long pass. That makes those openings the weak point in two directions: they are where dried spray mix and dust collect, and they are the thin webs of material where a crack finds somewhere to travel.
The Motor Upper Cover is designed to restore and maintain the protective enclosure over the DJI Agras T100 propulsion motor.
The part helps:
Going without may contribute to:
The cover does not seal the motor and is not meant to. Airflow has to get in. What it stops is the trajectory that matters: material thrown up by the rotors or kicked off the terrain, arriving fast from above and from the side, straight at the winding pack.
Because it is not a seal, its condition matters more than it looks like it should. A hairline crack does not leak the way a gasket leaks. It moves where air enters and routes grit-laden air somewhere the design never sent it. A cover that is still on there is not the same as a cover that is still working.
Replacement may be recommended when operators observe:
Covers are sacrificial. They are designed to take the impact, UV and chemical exposure that would otherwise reach the motor, which means they degrade on a schedule while the motor does not. Replacing a compromised cover is routine maintenance, not a repair.
A hairline crack running out of one of the screw holes. This is how these covers usually start to go: the boss is where clamping load, vibration, and any knock on the rim all end up. Once the crack reaches the nearest ventilation opening it steps slot to slot and speeds up.
Chalking, or a dull film on the top surface that wipes off gray on your hand. That is UV breakdown of the surface and a warning about the material under it. A chalked cover shatters where a fresh one would scuff.
The cover no longer sits flat. Run a fingernail around the joint with the motor. A cover standing proud on one side, usually after a strike or after one screw was pulled down harder than the rest, opens a debris path exactly where you cannot see it.
Dried spray residue packed into the ventilation openings that will not wash out. Blocked vents raise motor temperature under precisely the loads where you want headroom, and the crust holds chemical and moisture against the housing between jobs.
Component Type: Propulsion motor upper cover / ventilation housing
Compatibility:
Package Quantity: 1 Cover with screw set and hex key
Installation Area: Top of the propulsion motor
Function: Debris and chemical shielding with motor ventilation
Part Classification: Replacement component - not a DJI OEM labelled part
Condition: Brand new
Material: Molded composite housing. No resin grade is published for this cover, so treat it as UV- and chemical-exposed plastic rather than assuming a specification.
Fasteners: Screw set and hex key supplied. No torque figure is published for these screws; snug and even beats tight in a plastic boss.
Replacement basis: Sacrificial. Changed on condition -- crack, chalking, distortion, blocked vents -- not at a fixed flight-hour interval.
Confirm fitment by part number before ordering. Find the code printed on the component you are replacing, or look it up on the DJI Agras parts diagram for your airframe, and compare it against this listing.
Revision suffixes are still the same part. DJI labels sometimes carry a trailing revision such as .01, .02, or .F. Those denote a production revision, not a different component. Match the base number and disregard the suffix.
Visually similar is not the same. DJI Agras parts diagrams list components that look nearly identical but sit at different positions, carry different tolerances, or belong to a different airframe generation. Ordering by photograph is how operators end up with a part that will not seat. Order by number.
Verified fitment for this listing: DJI Agras T100. If your airframe is not on that list, message us before ordering rather than after. We would rather answer a question than process a return, and so would you.
Not sure? Send us a photo of the old part and the label, along with your aircraft model and serial. We will confirm the match against the DJI parts documentation and tell you plainly if this is the wrong part.
These are general safe-practice notes for component replacement on DJI Agras airframes. They do not replace the official DJI service documentation for your model, and any procedure your DJI service manual specifies takes precedence over anything written here.
Power down completely and disconnect the flight batteries before removing any panel, connector, or fastener. Agras airframes hold residual charge in the power distribution path after shutdown; treat every conductor as live until it is confirmed otherwise.
Photograph the assembly before you disturb it. Cable routing, connector orientation, and fastener lengths on Agras airframes are not interchangeable, and the Motor Upper Cover with Screws is easier to fit correctly when you can see how the original sat.
Torque to DJI specification. Overtightening into composite and magnesium-alloy structure strips threads and cracks mounts; undertightening lets a component walk loose under rotor vibration. Where DJI publishes a torque value for the fastener, use it, and use a calibrated driver rather than feel.
Observe ESD precautions. Ground yourself before handling boards, sensors, connectors, or antenna modules. Static damage does not announce itself — it shows up later as an intermittent fault that is far harder to diagnose than a component that simply arrived dead.
Seat every connector fully and restore the original strain relief. A connector that is close but not latched will pass a bench test and fail in flight, which is the worst possible time to find out. Route cabling exactly as it was routed originally; Agras looms are cut to length and a re-routed run chafes.
Test before you spray. Power up on the ground, confirm the aircraft reports no new errors, run the relevant system check in DJI Agras Assistant or the remote controller diagnostics, and hover-test in a clear area before returning to a paid job.
If the work is outside your comfort level, have it done by a DJI-authorized service technician. The part cost is small next to the airframe.
This is ideal for:
Especially valuable during:
Recovering a motor after a propeller strike cracked the cover but left the motor itself sound.
Restoring airflow on a motor running warm because its vents are packed with dried spray mix.
Scheduled set replacement on aircraft that live outdoors, where UV has reached every cover at the same rate.
Motors are among the most expensive consumables on the aircraft, and almost everything that kills them early comes in from outside: grit, chemical, water, impact. The cover is the barrier. Replacing it costs a fraction of the motor and takes minutes with the screws supplied.
The Motor Upper Cover helps maintain:
Without it, operators risk:
For practical, hardworking operators, the value is simple:
Protect the motor. Protect the aircraft. Protect the mission. Protect the season.
The real question is whether the cover is worth doing on its own or whether the motor is already compromised. Fit the cover, but do not stop there. If the aircraft flew any length of time with a crack, the cover is the symptom and the stator is where the damage went. Blow the winding pack out with low-pressure air, look for gritty film between the laminations, and turn the motor by hand feeling for the notchy rasp that says the bearing already ate something.
The other decision is one or all. Impact damage is local: one strike, one cover. Age is not. UV and chemical exposure reach every motor on the airframe at the same rate, so if one cover has gone chalky and brittle the rest are close behind. Changing them as a set at a scheduled service keeps it from coming up in the middle of a field.

Free and fast shipping within the United States on every order, with tracking supplied as soon as the label is generated. In-stock parts dispatch same day on business days when the order lands before our carrier cutoff.
We ship from the U.S., not from overseas. That is the whole reason Ares Acres exists. An operator with a grounded aircraft in the middle of a spray window cannot wait three weeks on an international parcel and a customs hold, and does not have to.
New condition, correctly described. We describe what we ship and we do not overstate it. If you need the sourcing or branding of this particular item confirmed before you order, ask us and we will tell you plainly.
Ordered the wrong part? Contact us. Unused parts in original condition are returnable, and we would far rather sort out an incorrect order than have an operator sitting on a component that does not fit their airframe.
Need help identifying a part? Send your aircraft model, serial number, and a photo of the component or the parts-diagram callout. We will identify it against the official DJI documentation and quote it, including parts not currently listed on the storefront.
Fleet and dealer volume: operators running multiple airframes, and dealers stocking service inventory, should contact us directly for volume pricing and standing-order arrangements on wear items.
What does the motor upper cover do? It shields the stator and windings from debris, chemical mist and impact, while its ventilation openings let the motor shed heat under sustained load.
When should I replace it? Any crack, impact damage, brittleness, or blocked ventilation. Also any time you find debris or chemical residue inside the motor during inspection.
Are screws included? Yes. The cover ships with its mounting screw set and a hex key.
Does this include the motor? No. This is the upper cover only. Rotor, stator, bearings and ESC are separate components.
Where can I buy DJI Agras motor parts in the U.S.? Ares Acres LLC is a U.S.-based authorized DJI Agras reseller stocking motor and ESC parts with free and fast U.S. shipping.
Will this fit my aircraft?
This part is supplied for the DJI Agras T100. Confirm against your model's DJI Agras parts diagram before ordering. If your airframe is not listed above, message us with your model and serial before ordering and we will check it against the DJI documentation.
How fast does it ship, and where does it ship from?
It ships free and fast from within the United States, with tracking. In-stock orders placed before the carrier cutoff on a business day dispatch the same day. Nothing routes through an overseas warehouse or customs.
Can I install the Motor Upper Cover with Screws myself?
Many operators do. Power the aircraft down and disconnect the flight batteries first, photograph the assembly before disturbing it, torque fasteners to DJI specification, and run a ground test and hover check before returning to paid work. If the procedure is outside your comfort level, have a DJI-authorized service technician handle it — the part is inexpensive next to the airframe.
What if I order the wrong part?
Contact us. Unused parts in original condition are returnable. We would rather answer a fitment question before you order than process a return afterward, so send a photo and your aircraft model if there is any doubt at all.
Do you stock other parts for this aircraft?
Yes. Ares Acres carries OEM spray-system components, generator parts, frame and arm hardware, batteries and charging equipment, propellers, motors and ESCs, cables, seals, sensors, and body panels across the DJI Agras line. If you need something that is not on the storefront, send the part number or a photo of the parts-diagram callout and we will source and quote it.

The cover is cracked but the motor still runs normally. Can I finish the season?
The motor running normally is not evidence the cover is doing anything. A crack changes where air and debris get in, and that damage is cumulative and quiet: grit bedding into the winding pack, chemical on insulation, a bearing picking up contamination. By the time the motor tells you, you are buying a motor.
Can I glue or tape a cracked cover to get through a job?
Tape over ventilation openings is worse than the crack, because you have traded a debris path for a heat problem on a motor already working hard. Adhesive on a part that vibrates, heat-cycles, and gets washed does not hold, and when it lets go the crack restarts at the repair.
There is a chalky film on top of the cover. Is that chemical or sun?
Usually sun. UV chalking is even, sits on upward-facing surfaces, and comes off as a fine powder while the shaded underside still looks new. Chemical staining is patchy, concentrates around the vents and wherever mix ran off and dried, and leaves a hard crust rather than a powder.
One cover is damaged. Should I do the others at the same time?
If it was a strike, no, that is one event on one arm. If it is age, check the others first. Flex the rim gently on an undamaged cover: fresh material gives a little and returns, aged material feels hard and dry. Covers that flew the same hours in the same sun fail within a short span of each other.
