Will this battery fit my other Agras aircraft?
Assume only the models named on this listing, which are the T100 and the T70P. Agras flight batteries across generations share a family resemblance and a similar bay, and that is exactly what makes cross-fitting a tempting mistake. Check the parts documentation for the aircraft you are asking about before ordering, and if you already have a pack in hand, compare its printed model designation against what that airframe calls for instead of trying it in the bay.
The pack is hot off the mission. Can I put it straight on the fast charger?
Let it settle first. Fast charging generates heat inside the cells, so starting from an already elevated temperature means the battery spends the whole charge at the top of its thermal range, which is where aging happens fastest. Park hot packs on a rack with air moving around them instead of stacking them in a closed case, then charge once they have come down. Charging systems protect themselves, but working at the limit every day costs cycles you paid for.
How should I store packs between seasons?
Set them down at the state of charge DJI specifies for storage rather than full or flat, keep them somewhere cool, dry and temperature-stable, and stay out of a shed that bakes in the afternoon and freezes overnight. Record each pack state of charge on the day it goes away, then check the whole fleet again partway through the off-season. The battery that has fallen furthest is the first to retire, and one that dropped sharply should be isolated.
A pack fell off the tailgate and looks undamaged. Can I keep flying it?
Do not put it back in the rotation on appearance alone. A lithium pack can take internal cell damage with nothing visible outside, and the resulting failure is often delayed rather than immediate. Set it aside on a non-combustible surface away from buildings and other batteries and watch it over the following days for heat, swelling, deformation or odor. If anything changes, or the fall was hard, retire it and send it to a battery recycler.
How do I tell capacity loss from a power delivery problem?
They show up at different points in the flight. Capacity loss appears at the end: the battery charges to full, flies normally, and simply runs out sooner than the rest of the rotation. A delivery problem appears at the start and under load, when the aircraft rotates into a climb with a full tank and the pack sags, warns, or limits power while still reporting plenty of charge. The second is the more urgent, because it bites when the aircraft has the least margin.
