What if I order the wrong part?

Contact us. Unused parts in original condition are returnable. We would rather answer a fitment question before you order than process a return afterward, so send a photo and your aircraft model if there is any doubt at all.

The reported rate bounces around but the spray pattern looks fine. What is that?

That pattern points at air rather than at a bad sensor. Bubbles moving through a flow meter register as flow that never reached a nozzle, so the reading goes unsteady instead of simply reading high or low. Look for a joint on the suction side that is tight enough not to drip but loose enough to draw air, a hardened or collapsing suction hose, and a tank drawn down far enough that the pickup gulps air at the end of a pass.

Can I put thread tape on it to stop a weep?

Not unless DJI specifies tape at that joint. On a fitting designed to seal on an O-ring or a face, tape holds the sealing surfaces apart and makes the leak worse, and shredded tape travels downstream to plug screens and nozzles where it is genuinely difficult to find. If a joint only seals with tape wrapped into it, either the sealing part is damaged or the fitting is not the right one.

How do I get it off without damaging the flow meter?

Flush and drain first, then use two wrenches: one holding the part the adapter threads into, one turning the adapter, so no torque reaches the meter body or the hose. If it does not want to move, resist adding leverage against a plastic housing. Warmth, patience and a properly fitting wrench cost nothing, while a cracked meter body turns a small fitting job into a much larger order.
