No. They are separate, position-specific parts with their own SKUs precisely because their geometry is not the same, and the pattern the sprinkler produces comes from the two working as a pair in the right order. Fitting the wrong one either will not seat correctly or will produce a spray pattern that no rate adjustment can correct.
How should I store spare disks?
Sealed, flat, out of direct sunlight, and not underneath heavier parts in a tool tray. Sunlight ages polymer even on a shelf, and weight sitting on a thin disk over a long period can leave it with a set that you will not notice until it wobbles on the head. A spare that arrives sealed should stay sealed until the day it is fitted.
Why does one head crust up when the others stay clean?
Because liquid is not leaving that disk cleanly and is tracking back toward the hub instead of off the edge. That points at a warped disk, a stack that is not sitting flat, deposits already trapped between the disk faces, or retaining hardware that has been over-tightened enough to distort the disk. Take that stack apart and look at the hidden faces rather than rinsing harder.
