Rinse and neutralize according to the product labels, run clean water through the nozzles as well as the tank, then drain the tank, open the low points, and clear the pump, hoses, and any filter bowl of standing water. Water that freezes inside a plumbing component splits it, and the damage usually stays hidden until the system is pressurized in the spring. Store the aircraft out of direct sun with the tank empty, since ultraviolet exposure ages the material whether or not anyone is flying.
