The DJI Talos T60X OEM Front Radar Module is the complete radar sensing unit fitted at the front of the Talos T60X agricultural spray aircraft. It is the forward end of the aircraft's radar sensing system: the module that looks ahead along the direction of travel so the flight system can sense what lies in front of the aircraft and how the ground below it is changing. In the supplier photograph it is a grey cylindrical module with a black stepped end carrying small locating tabs, and a dark band where the end collar meets the body. It is listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X and is supplied as a single module. Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships. Operators usually come looking for a front radar module after a front-end strike, a crash or a hard landing, after a radar warning that will not clear, or after a cracked or holed radar body has been found during a wash-down.
Ares Acres LLC is a U.S.-based authorized DJI retailer supplying agricultural spray aircraft, replacement components, and field-ready inventory to American commercial operators, service centres, and applicators.
FREE & FAST Shipping is included for all U.S. customers.
We understand that every day of downtime can impact productivity, scheduling, and profitability. That's why we focus on providing fast fulfillment, responsive customer support, and reliable access to the parts operators need most.

Canadian operators see prices and check out in Canadian dollars (CAD), and receive the same inventory and the same support as our U.S. customers — one authorized DJI retailer serving the United States and Canada, all of North America, from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The front radar module and the rear radar module are separate parts at separate addresses on the aircraft. If you want the match confirmed, photograph the module you removed from the side and from its connector end, include the label, and send it to us.
One module, supplied on its own. It is a complete radar sensing unit for the front position, not a radar kit, not a mounting set and not a pair.
Not included: the front radar base that the module mounts to, the front radar signal cable that connects it to the aircraft, screws or other fixings, the rear radar module, and any shell or cover parts around the radar. Each of those is a separate part. The front radar base and the front radar signal cable are both available on their own, which matters when diagnosing a front radar fault: the module is one link in a three-part chain, and it is the most expensive link to replace on a guess.
The front radar module is the forward sensor of the Talos T60X's radar sensing system. Radar sensing on a DJI spray aircraft serves two jobs that cameras alone struggle with in a working field: detecting obstacles in the flight path, and measuring the aircraft's height over a surface that keeps changing under it. Radar sees through the spray mist, the dust and the low light that degrade optical sensing, which is exactly why a spray aircraft carries it.
The front module sits at the leading end of the aircraft and looks forward along the direction of travel. It is mounted to the airframe through the front radar base and connected to the aircraft through the front radar signal cable. Neither the base nor the cable is part of the module, and each can fail on its own.
In the supplier photograph the module is a grey cylinder with a black stepped end. Small tabs stand out from the black end, and a dark band runs around the joint between the end collar and the grey body. The rear radar module, a separate part, looks different in its own supplier photograph: it has a black flange ring carrying small screws and a fitting standing out from its end face. Compare the module you removed with both before deciding which one you need.
What the front radar module lives with, over a working season:
What actually ends a front radar module's service life is usually physical: a cracked or holed body after a strike, water or chemical getting past a damaged seal, or internal damage after an impact. A module that has simply been flown for a long time, kept clean and never struck, has no published wear-out point.
The module's engineering role is to give the flight system a forward radar picture. It does that in four ways:
The module is an active electronic sensor. It needs a sound mount to point in the right direction, a sound signal cable to reach the aircraft, and a clean body surface to see through. It is only as good as the base it sits on and the cable it reports through.
What the front radar module does not do:
A front radar warning names the radar, but the radar is the end of a chain. The module sits on the front radar base, reports through the front radar signal cable, and looks out through its own body surface. A fault in any of those four places can arrive on the remote controller as a radar problem, and three of them are not the module.
This is the misdiagnosis that costs the most on this aircraft. The module is the expensive link. Replace it on the strength of a warning alone and there is a real chance the new module will report the same fault, because the cause was a residue film on the body, a cracked base that lets the module move, or a cable that loses contact under vibration.
Work through the chain in this order:
The fault pattern that points at the chain, not the module:
The pattern that points at the module itself:
Do the first three checks first, while that information is still cheap. They cost minutes and a rag, and they decide whether the repair is a clean, a base, a cable or a module.
Replace the front radar module when inspection confirms one of these:
Inspect these as well, because they produce the same warning:
There is no published service interval for the front radar module. It is replaced when it is damaged or proven faulty, not on a schedule.

Maintenance between jobs. Rinse the radar body at the end of every spray day so residue never dries into a film, and look at the base fixings and the cable while you do it. Most front radar trouble that is not impact damage starts as dirt, a loose fixing or a tired cable, and all three are cheap to catch early.
The front radar module is for operators and technicians restoring forward radar sensing on a Talos T60X:
This is not the part you need if:
The front radar module is the part a radar warning points at, and that is exactly why it is so often replaced when it did not need to be. The warning names the radar; it does not say whether the radar, its base, its cable or its own dirty surface is the cause.
On a spray aircraft that matters more than usual. The front module is the costly end of a chain whose other links are inexpensive and quick to check. A residue film, a cracked base and a tired cable each reach the remote controller as the same complaint, and each is fixed for a fraction of the effort of a module change.
Working the chain in order changes the outcome. Clean, check the base, check the cable, and only then condemn the module. If the module is the fault, the checks cost a few minutes. If it is not, they have saved a module, and the aircraft goes back to work the same day instead of waiting for a part that would not have fixed it.
When the module is damaged, replace it without hesitation. A cracked or holed radar body lets water and chemical into the electronics, and a front radar that cannot see forward takes away the protection the aircraft relies on when it works near trees, poles and wires. Fit it on a sound base, connect it through a sound cable, keep its face clean, and the forward sensing goes back to the way DJI built it.

What is the DJI Talos T60X front radar module? The complete radar sensing unit fitted at the front of the Talos T60X. It looks forward along the direction of travel and gives the flight system its forward radar picture for obstacle sensing and height over ground.
Which aircraft does it fit? It is listed by the supplier for the Talos T60X. Compare it with the module you removed, or send us a photograph of its label.
What is the DJI material number? Send us a photograph of the label on the part you removed and we will match it before it ships.
Is it the same as the rear radar module? No. The front and rear radar modules are separate parts at separate positions, and they look different in the supplier photographs: the rear module has a black flange ring with small screws and a fitting on its end face.
Does it come with the base and the cable? No. The module is supplied on its own. The front radar base, the front radar signal cable and the fixings are separate parts.
My aircraft shows a front radar warning. Do I need a new module? Not necessarily. Clean the radar body, check the base and its fixings, and check and reseat the signal cable first. The module is the last of the four to condemn.
Can dirt on the radar cause a warning? Yes. A dried film of spray, mud or fertilizer residue on the radar body degrades what it can see. Clean it, let it dry and test again before replacing anything.
The warning comes and goes in flight. Is the module failing? An intermittent warning that changes with vibration usually points at the cable or a loose module on its base, not at the module itself. Check those first.
The radar body is cracked. Should I replace it? Yes. A cracked or holed body lets water and chemical reach the electronics. Replace the module and check the base, which usually took the same impact.
Can I fly without the front radar? Forward obstacle sensing depends on it. Flying a spray aircraft near trees, poles and wires without it removes protection the aircraft relies on. Repair it first.
Can I fit it myself? Most technicians can. Photograph the old module's orientation and cable routing, check the base and cable while they are exposed, seat the new module the same way, and test on the ground before flying.
Is there a torque figure for the fixings? DJI does not publish one for this part. Tighten evenly and stop when the module is held firmly; over-tightening can crack the base.
Will it need a firmware update? Follow the DJI app. If it asks for an update after the module change, run it before a working flight.
Is there a service interval? No published interval. The module is replaced when it is damaged or proven faulty.
Is it a genuine DJI part? Yes. It is a genuine DJI OEM sensing module, brand new.
