How do I tell whether the problem is electrical or in the liquid path?
Put clean water in the tank, power up, and command spray on and off with a fingertip on the valve body. A distinct mechanical snap each way means the command and the coil are working and anything wrong is downstream or at the seat. No snap means either the coil is not getting power or the plunger is seized. Then hold spray on for a few minutes and feel the coil: one doing work warms up, one getting nothing stays as cold as the body around it.
