1. Safety starts before aircraft power-on

Authorization, site conditions, hardware readiness, chemical handling y battery condition forman parte de la same operating system.

2. Regulations and intended use

DJI defines these aircraft for agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry y fisheries. Human carriage is prohibited.

3. Illegal or dangerous payloads

Do not carry them. Technical lift capability and legal/manufacturer approval are separate questions.

4. Manned aircraft

Do not interfere with manned-aircraft operations and land if necessary.

5. Major events and restricted areas

DJI says not to operate in major-event areas or where local law prohibits operation without authorization.

6. GEO Zones do not replace local rules

This point is explicit in the source and should remain separate from country-specific legal compliance.

7. Manufacturer altitude/distance guidance

The source tells users to avoid flight above 100 m and to keep flight distance within 2 km or less, while also stating that legal altitude limits vary by country/region.

8. Preflight power

All devices should be sufficiently charged before operation.

9. Propulsion and sensing checks

Inspect motors, propellers, vision system, radar and antennas, and replace aged/broken parts before flight.

10. Secure battery, tank, arm locks and cables

They must be mounted and connected correctly and firmly.

11. Spraying system readiness

No blockage, no leaks, sprinklers operating normally.

12. DJI Agras warnings

Review every aircraft-status warning before takeoff.

13. Weather range

Manufacturer environmental guidance includes 0–40°C and wind not exceeding 6 m/s.

14. Drift-sensitive spraying

For herbicides, fungicides or insecticides that drift easily and can create phytotoxic risk, DJI recommends below 3 m/s.

15. Severe weather

Avoid heavy rain above 25 mm/12h, snow, ice, fog and lightning.

16. GNSS and open-area operation

Operate with strong GNSS and avoid areas where positioning can degrade severely, such as indoor/under-bridge environments.

17. Electromagnetic interference

DJI lists mobile-phone base stations and radio-transmission towers as examples of strong electromagnetic environments.

18. Altitude

Do not operate above 4.5 km sea level. Payload capability decreases with elevation; around 2 km and above, battery/aircraft performance can be reduced.

19. People and animals

Maintain more than 10 m from crowds/animals and more than 6 m from the aircraft during operation.

20. VLOS is continuous

Keep the aircraft within visual line of sight for the operation.

21. Do not over-rely on obstacle sensing

Environmental conditions can prevent detection or bypass. Pilot awareness remains necessary.

22. Battery warning response

Return promptly when warnings appear. Critical battery triggers auto landing; horizontal control remains available to guide toward a safer location.

23. Power-line contact

Do not touch an aircraft that has collided with high-voltage power lines.

24. Shutdown order

Stop motors → power off aircraft → power off controller.

25. Pesticide handling

Follow pesticide specifications, use clean mineral-free water, filter mixture before the tank and clear blockages before operation.

26. PPE and upwind position

Use protective clothing and stay upwind to reduce exposure.

27. Cleanup

Clean the spraying system, aircraft and remote controller after application.

28. Water protection

Do not contaminate rivers or drinking-water sources.

29. Minimize surplus solution

Plan mixture volume to reduce leftover spray/washing liquid.

30. Incompatible liquids

Do not use strong acids, strong bases, high-temperature liquids or explicitly prohibited pesticides.

31. Battery liquid exposure

Remove the battery from service, place it in a dry open area away from flammables and contact support/dealer.

32. Battery-use temperature

The source lists -5°C to 45°C.

33. Physical battery exclusions

Do not use swollen, leaking, damaged, crashed or heavily impacted batteries.

34. No disassembly or puncture

These are not supported field-service actions.

35. Heat and storage

Keep batteries away from heat and do not store them for extended periods fully discharged.

36. Export-control section exists in the source

The English safety guideline also contains an Export Controls section stating that export, re-export and transfer can be subject to Chinese export-control law and other applicable export-control laws and sanctions.

37. What the source places on the user

It assigns responsibility to comply with applicable requirements and mentions embargo, sanctioned-party and weapons-related restrictions.

38. Why this hub does not turn that notice into a legal guide

The source is a general manufacturer compliance notice, not a complete jurisdiction-specific legal framework. Current transaction-specific questions need the applicable law at the time of the transaction.

39. Daily safety workflow

  1. regulatory authorization;
  2. site/weather/GNSS check;
  3. aircraft preflight;
  4. spraying-system check;
  5. DJI Agras warnings;
  6. battery physical safety;
  7. chemical/PPE setup;
  8. flight/VLOS monitoring;
  9. shutdown;
  10. cleanup and log review.

40. Safety finding → subsystem branch

Separate findings into propulsion, sensing/navigation, spraying, battery/power or compliance. Avoid treating a general warning as an instruction to replace the whole aircraft or system.

41. Localized deep-dive guides

42. Preguntas frecuentes
