1. Engine oil: every use
Check oil level before each operation.
2. Sponge filter: 10 hours
Check and clean.
3. Initial oil replacement: 20 hours
The first replacement follows the initial-use interval.
4. Routine oil service
Continue according to the recurring schedule. In high-temperature environments, DJI notes higher oil consumption and recommends shortening the interval.
5. Paper filter: 50 hours
Check and clean.
6. Paper filter: 100 hours
Replace according to the schedule.

7. Major service: 300 hours or 1 year
Use whichever condition occurs first.
8. Spark plug
Check, clean or replace according to the major-service schedule.
9. Valve clearance
Adjustment belongs to the same major-service group.
10. Fuel-injector and fuel-pump service
These items are included in the longer service interval and should follow official support/authorized dealer guidance where specified.
11. Spark arrestor
Clean at the listed major interval.

12. Fuel pipe
Replace every 2 years or when condition requires it.
13. Dusty environments
Increase inspection and service frequency.
14. High-temperature operation
Check oil carefully before each use and shorten replacement intervals as needed.
15. Maintenance planning checklist
- current operating hours;
- last oil change;
- sponge-filter service;
- paper-filter service;
- spark-plug history;
- spark-arrestor history;
- major-service date;
- fuel-pipe age;
- environment severity.
16. Preventive Maintenance Pack
The D14000iE Preventive Maintenance Pack is the recurring-service handoff for routine service items.
17. Do not replace fuel-system parts by schedule alone
Gasoline Pump, Pump Filter and EFI Fuel Injector Nozzle still require the correct maintenance or diagnostic branch.
18. Record both hours and dates
Hour-based tasks need operating-hour tracking, while one-year and two-year limits also require calendar records.
19. Maintenance record
- asset ID;
- hours;
- date;
- service performed;
- parts used;
- oil/filter condition;
- next due hours/date.
20. Common mistakes
Do not wait past one year just because 300 hours have not been reached; do not ignore dust or high-temperature conditions.
21. FAQ
Oil check: every use. Sponge filter: 10 h. Paper filter: 50 h check, 100 h replace. Major service: 300 h or 1 year. Fuel pipe: 2 years or as needed.

22. Use a two-axis maintenance tracker
For hour-based service, record engine hours. For 300h/1y and 2-year items, record calendar dates as well. The next service is determined by the first applicable limit reached.
23. Harsh-environment adjustment should be documented
If the generator works in dust or high heat, note that the standard interval was shortened and why. This prevents a later operator from assuming early service was unnecessary.
24. Separate inspection from replacement
The schedule sometimes calls for check/clean and sometimes replacement. Keep those actions distinct in the service record.
25. Maintenance due does not identify one failed component
Four-red maintenance status should trigger schedule review, not a single-part purchase by default.
26. Fleet maintenance board

- current hours;
