What Is the Biggest DJI Agras Drone in Canada?

Updated September 11, 2026.

The DJI Agras T100S is one of DJI Agriculture’s largest aircraft and the newest flagship-generation Agras platform. Its launch-market configuration reaches 149.9 kg maximum takeoff weight, carries 85 L for spraying, up to 90 kg for spreading and up to 95 kg for lifting.

But “biggest” depends on the metric. DJI’s current global T100 publishes higher maximum takeoff weights and larger spray, spread and lift capacities in many markets. For Canadian operators, the most important distinction may be that 149.9 kg sits just under Transport Canada’s 150 kg line between medium and large drones.

CANADA QUICK ANSWER

The T100S is a 149.9 kg-class flagship and one of the biggest DJI Agras drones, but the global T100 is larger by several current published metrics: up to 175–177 kg MTOW in many regions, 100 L spraying, 150 L spreading and 100 kg lift. In Canada, a 149.9 kg T100S configuration would remain within the medium-drone weight band if the exact aircraft stays at or below 150 kg; an aircraft over 150 kg moves into the large-drone/special-operation framework.

Five Ways to Define “Biggest”

  1. Maximum takeoff weight — total aircraft, battery, system and payload mass.
  2. Physical dimensions — deployed and folded footprint.
  3. Spray capacity — liquid tank volume.
  4. Spreading capacity — hopper volume and material mass.
  5. Lifting payload — suspended cargo capacity.

T100S Size and Payload

Metric T100S launch-market figure
Maximum takeoff weight Up to 149.9 kg
Approx. weight with battery, standard spray configuration ~57 kg
Deployed dimensions ~3190 × 3570 × 934 mm
Fully folded dimensions ~1120 × 896 × 934 mm
Diagonal wheelbase ~2415 mm
Propeller class 62 × 23 in
Spray tank 85 L
Spread payload 90 kg
Lift payload 95 kg

T100S vs Global T100: Which Is Actually Bigger?

The current global T100 publishes up to 100 L spraying, 150 L spreading with 100 kg material load, 100 kg single-battery lifting and MTOW up to 175–177 kg in many markets. Those numbers exceed the T100S launch-market configuration.

T100S is newer and brings higher spray-flow ceilings plus a newer LiDAR/radar/mapping generation, but it should not be described as bigger than T100 in every measurement.

Why 149.9 kg Is More Important in Canada Than It Looks

Transport Canada defines medium drones as more than 25 kg and not more than 150 kg, while drones over 150 kg are large. Since November 2025, eligible medium-drone VLOS operations can be conducted under the Advanced category when the pilot, aircraft, airspace and safety-assurance requirements are satisfied.

This means a 149.9 kg T100S configuration can have a different Canadian regulatory profile from a 175 kg aircraft. That does not make the T100S automatically legal: the exact aircraft still needs the declaration/PVD support appropriate to the mission, registration and the correct pilot/airspace permissions.

Which Has the Bigger Spray Tank?

Global T100: 100 L. T100S: 85 L. T100S counters with higher maximum flow—40 L/min standard and 50 L/min optional compared with T100’s 30/40 L/min headline configuration. Bigger tank and faster liquid throughput are separate advantages.

Which Has the Bigger Spreader?

Global T100 publishes 150 L and 100 kg. T100S publishes 126 L and 90 kg. Both can reach up to 400 kg/min peak discharge with suitable material under specified conditions.

Which Lifts More?

Global T100 publishes 100 kg in its single-battery lift configuration. T100S publishes 95 kg. T100S adds newer load-control, mapping and sensing functions rather than winning the comparison on raw lift mass.

Why Bigger Is Not Always Better for Canadian Farms

A larger aircraft creates larger support requirements: trailer space, launch-zone size, batteries, charging power, water transfer, material loading and repair exposure. On fragmented fields, a T25, T50 or T55 can be more efficient because it is easier to move and stage.

Health Canada Pesticide Context

Even the biggest spray drone must follow the pesticide label. Health Canada’s 2026 policy allows RPAS application of products registered for conventional aerial application when the label does not prohibit RPAS and all aerial directions are followed exactly. Tank size and flow capability never override approved spray volume, rate, droplet or buffer requirements.

FAQ

Is the T100S the biggest DJI Agras?

It is one of the largest and is the newest flagship generation, but global T100 is larger by several current published capacity and MTOW metrics.

Why is 149.9 kg important in Canada?

It is immediately below the 150 kg upper boundary of Transport Canada’s medium-drone class.

Does that automatically make the T100S legal?

No. The exact aircraft and mission must still meet registration, pilot, airspace and safety-assurance requirements.

Which has the bigger spray tank?

Global T100 at 100 L versus T100S at 85 L.

Which is newer?

T100S.
