A Canadian DJI Agras T100S launch is commercially plausible, but DJI has not published a Canada-specific T100S release date that Ares Acres can verify as of this update. The T100S debuted in China in November 2025, and DJI Agriculture has repeatedly expanded important Agras platforms beyond their initial launch markets in stages.

Why a Canadian T100S Rollout Would Make Sense

Canada has several agricultural segments that can use high-capacity RPAS: Prairie broadacre farming, custom application, orchard and vineyard operations, specialty crops and remote agricultural logistics. The T100S’s 85 L spraying, 90 kg spreading, 95 kg lifting and high-flow application system target exactly the kind of throughput constraints that appear in large operations.

For medium-drone Advanced operations, the exact aircraft’s safety-assurance declaration matters. Depending on proximity to people, controlled airspace and the mission, the aircraft can require a declaration or Pre-Validated Declaration under the applicable standards.

Health Canada’s 2026 Policy Makes Agricultural RPAS More Relevant

Health Canada’s June 2026 policy now permits RPAS application of pesticides already registered for conventional aerial application when the label does not prohibit RPAS and all aerial directions are followed. That policy improves the commercial case for supported Canadian agricultural-drone platforms, but it does not create universal permission to spray every pesticide.
