DJI D14000iE maintenance timeline

DJI D14000iE Maintenance Schedule: 10H, 20H, 50H, 100H & 300H Service

The D14000iE maintenance schedule is hour-based, with calendar limits added to the longer service interval. DJI also says maintenance frequency should be increased when the generator is used in dusty or otherwise harsh environments.

Quick Answer: Check engine-oil level at each use. Check/clean the sponge filter at 10 hours. Replace engine oil after first use at the 20-hour point, then on the regular schedule. Check/clean the paper filter at 50 hours and replace it at 100 hours. At 300 operating hours or 1 year—whichever comes first—the manual calls for spark-arrestor cleaning, spark-plug service, valve-clearance adjustment and fuel-injector/fuel-pump service. Replace the fuel pipe every 2 years or when necessary.

Early and routine service

Engine oil is checked at each use. The initial oil replacement is listed after first use at the 20-hour point, followed by the regular oil replacement interval. The sponge filter is checked/cleaned at 10 hours, while the paper filter moves from check/clean at 50 hours to replacement at 100 hours.

The D14000iE Preventive Maintenance Pack is the direct recurring-maintenance handoff for the filter/service items represented in the schedule.

300 hours / 1 year: whichever comes first

The schedule includes spark-plug check/clean/replacement, valve-clearance adjustment, fuel-injector nozzle filter/fuel-pump clean or replacement and spark-arrestor cleaning. DJI says the paired interval means service is due based on whichever condition occurs first.

After each 300 operating hours, DJI instructs users to contact official support or an authorized dealer to check and clean the fuel-injector nozzle filter, drain fuel in the high-pressure oil pipe and fuel pump, and retighten the cylinder-head bolt to 55-60 N·m.

Fuel pipe and high-temperature operation

The fuel pipe is listed for replacement every two years or when necessary. DJI also notes that engine-oil consumption increases in high-temperature environments and recommends filling oil to the rated level before each use and shortening the oil-replacement interval.

If a fuel-system repair is separately diagnosed, exact product paths include the Gasoline Pump, Gasoline Pump Filter and EFI Fuel Injector Nozzle.
