Which propulsion motor does the DJI Agras T100 use?
The T100 uses the DJI 15516/60KV propulsion motor with a matching ESC module on each arm. Ares Acres stocks the motor, the propulsion motor service pack, ESC modules, motor adapter cables, motor covers and the arm propulsion and signal cables that connect them.
What does DJI say to check on motors and ESCs before flight?
DJI's pre-flight guidance is to make sure the motors are mounted securely and rotate smoothly, that the ESCs sound normal when powered on, and to land immediately if a motor is stuck. Aged, chipped or broken propellers should be replaced before the aircraft flies again.
Do I order arms by position?
Yes. T100 arms are listed as M1 and M3 or M2 and M4 small aircraft arms, front or rear large aircraft arms, and M1 to M4 arm assemblies sold singly or as a full set. Check the arm position on the aircraft before ordering and confirm the DJI material number.
What are propeller stabilization clamps and clip gaskets for?
The propeller stabilization clamp set holds the folding propellers in place, and the clip gaskets sit in the propeller clamp. Both are wear items and among the most-ordered T100 propulsion parts, along with the propeller clamp service kit and bearing gasket set.
What happens if a T100 motor fails in flight?
DJI's manual states that the aircraft assesses remaining propulsion and, where sufficient, keeps flying so you can steer it along the arm with the failed motor and land. If more than one propulsion motor fails, the aircraft will crash, so inspect motors and ESCs on schedule.
