What Is the Newest DJI Agras Drone in Canada?

The DJI Agras T100S is the flagship of DJI Agriculture’s newest T100S/T70S/T55 product generation. For Canadian buyers, however, “newest DJI Agras drone” and “newest officially supported DJI Agras model in Canada” are not automatically the same question.
The T100S is DJI Agriculture’s newest flagship-generation Agras aircraft. It was introduced in China in November 2025 with an 85 L spray system, 90 kg spread payload, 95 kg lifting system, 149.9 kg MTOW class and new 256-line LiDAR. But Ares Acres has not verified an official Canadian T100S launch as of September 11, 2026. Canadian operators should therefore distinguish product generation from regional sales/support status.

Newest Does Not Mean Biggest in Every Metric
The current global T100 publishes larger raw capacities in several categories: up to 100 L spraying, 150 L spreading, 100 kg lift and 175–177 kg MTOW in many regions. T100S is newer, but it is not automatically larger in every specification.
That distinction is particularly relevant in Canada because a 149.9 kg T100S configuration sits just inside Transport Canada’s medium-drone band of more than 25 kg through 150 kg. The heavier global T100 figures may not be the configuration used or supported in Canada.

What Is the Newest Model Actually Available in Canada?
Regional availability changes separately from product-generation chronology. A model can be newer globally but not yet have an official Canadian launch. Ares Acres therefore does not label the T100S an officially supported Canadian-market aircraft without a verifiable DJI Canada/regional release.

Transport Canada Context
At 149.9 kg maximum takeoff weight in its launch-market form, T100S remains in Canada’s medium-drone band if the exact aircraft operates at or below 150 kg. Medium-drone VLOS operations can fit the Advanced category when the applicable pilot, registration, airspace and aircraft safety-assurance requirements are satisfied.
Newness does not create approval. An imported T100S must be evaluated by exact model and operation.
Health Canada Context for the Newest Spray Platform
