DJI T100 Dual-Battery Spraying System IPX6 protection conditions

DJI T100 Dual-Battery Spraying System Cable & IPX6 Protection Guide

Two of the most important service constraints in DJI's source are cable integrity and ingress protection. The product is rated IPX6 under stable laboratory conditions, but DJI explicitly says that protection is not permanent and can decline after collision, seal damage, loose waterproof covers, aging or wear.

Quick Answer: Make every cable connection correct and secure, avoid damaging wiring, do not disassemble factory-installed parts, and inspect seals/covers after impacts. DJI rates the system IPX6 under stable laboratory conditions, but says the protection can decline over time and that water damage is not covered by the product warranty.

Correct and secure cable connections

DJI instructs operators to make sure cable connections are correct and secure and to operate carefully to avoid damaging the cables. The installation figure's steps 4-5 show the aircraft-side connector being joined and seated.

IPX6 does not mean permanent water immunity

Under stable laboratory conditions the system has an IPX6 rating under IEC 60529. DJI says that protection may decrease over time because of aging and wear.

Three conditions that can reduce protection

  • A collision deforms the seal structure.
  • The shell's seal structure becomes cracked or damaged.
  • Waterproof covers are not properly secured.

Do not disassemble factory-installed components

DJI specifically warns that disassembling parts already mounted before shipping can affect ingress-protection performance.

Relevant T100 cable and fluid-system service paths

Verified active service items in the current T100 spraying catalog include the Centrifugal Spray Lance Cable, Sprinkler Adapter Cable, Water Hose, Flow Meter Adapter, and Solenoid Valve. These are broader T100 spraying-system service paths; the source sheet does not identify them as components unique to LS100-DB.
