Frequently asked questions — T50 Spreading System Parts

What material can the T50 spreading system handle?

DJI's spreading guide states the system is compatible with dry materials between 0.5 and 5 mm in diameter, that powder spreading is not supported, and that the small hopper gate is used for low application rates.

Which spreading parts are stocked?

Genuine DJI OEM T50 75L spread tanks and covers, spinner disks and gaskets, hopper gates, reduction gearboxes and epicyclic gear modules, big and large gears, spreading flanges, agitator rods, baffles, center shaft bolts, spreading signal cables and the spreader repair kits.

When do I need tare or empty tank calibration?

DJI says to perform tare calibration before first use and after switching from spraying to spreading, empty tank calibration when the app shows an incorrect empty tank warning or fails to detect an empty tank, and flow calibration when creating a template or after replacing the hopper gate.

What alerts can the spreader raise?

DJI's guide lists app alerts for abnormalities in rotational speed, temperature and hopper outlet size. Check that the hopper gate and spinner disk function normally before operation and clean residue from the spread tank and spreader immediately after each job.
